今、行政の中で専門職として働いており、
アートマネージャーと名乗って文化芸術のコーディネーターをしています。
役割としては、過疎化している自治体も含む地域で活動するアーティストや団体さんを発掘・調査し、
時にはサポートしたり、
時には彼らをウェブサイトで紹介するための記事を書いたり、
地域の文化芸術資源（人や産業、施設だったりします）を生かした事業を企画し運営したり、
行政が行う文化芸術事業を手伝ったり、
そんなことです。
私が担当している地域は、15の自治体があり、
過疎地もあれば、住宅密集地もあるし、
基本的には高齢化しているんだけど、一部若いファミリーが増えている地域など、
地域の特性も様々です。
この仕事がそれ程知られていないので、そこそこの仕事量で済んでるけど、
ホントはもっともっと、それぞれの地域特性に合わせてやれることがたくさんあります。
この仕事をしていて、一番楽しいと感じるのは、
地域で活動しているアーティストなど、地域で輝いている人に出会えること。
ほとんどの人は、もちろん毎日一生懸命生きていて、みんなが輝いているとも言えるんだけど、
私が仕事で出会う輝いている人たちは、人よりちょっと多めに悩んで、
人が見ていないところで努力して、人が喜ぶ何かを、目に見える形で地域に創り出す。
クリエイト（Create）する人、まさしくクリエイター。
そういう人と話すとき、自ずとパワーや気づきをもらえるので、
つくづくサポートされているのはこちらの方だな、と思うのです。

I work for the government as professional coordinator of arts and culture called “Art Manager”.
There are some rolls in this job.
Excavating and researching artists and arts organizations working in local communities including depopulated area, sometimes supporting them, writing reports and articles for introducing them on the website, planning and administrating some projects in order to make good use of local resources (human, industries, cultural facilities and so on) , and helping the projects of the government.
I have 15 local governments as the areas in charge.
Some areas are becoming depopulated, others are densely populated area.
Looking these areas widely, basically we can see “aging society” in there, but partly we have the areas where the number of young families is increasing.
These 15 areas have their distinctive characteristics.
I feel the most joy when meeting people who are shining in each area.
Almost all people live every day to the fullest, so it is not wrong that everyone is shining.
But what I want to say is that shining people I met in this job have a little more experiences of worrying and making efforts behind the scenes than normal people , and they create something makes people happy in a visible way.
They are exactly “Creator”.
When I have communication with the creators, they give me lots of power and hints for my role.
There is no doubt that I receive countless supports from them.
